Thanks to our sauna panels made of natural wood, you don’t have to do without a reclaimed wood design even in a wellness area. Our low-formaldehyde three-layer panels have been specially developed for sauna construction and are ideally suited for use in the sauna area. These solid spruce panels insulate well and have few knots. With a selection of over 100 wood decors, nothing stands in the way of your individual sauna area.
Please note: Due to the extremely humid and dry climatic conditions and their rapid change, a sauna operation represents a special stress for wood. The associated “working” of wood and the occurrence of resin leakage can never be completely prevented.

Low-formaldehyde panels
We offer our three-ply sauna panels in formaldehyde emission class E1 determined in accordance with EN 717 / ÖNORM 6219-1. They guarantee optimal conditions for your sauna.
Panels up to 5 x 2 m
Our SUN WOOD sauna panels are available in the standard panel format of 5000 x 2030 x 19 mm. Of course, we also offer special cuts and deliver your individual desired dimension upon request.
Meets the highest demands
A sauna is a particularly challenging for wood because of extremely humid and dry climatic conditions and the rapid fluctuation between the two. SUN WOOD sauna panels offer many advantages over conventional reclaimed wood. A regulated air exchange with appropriate relative humidity is still a must in preventing damage. The natural “work” associated with a change in moisture in wood can never be completely prevented.
Please note: SUN WOOD recommends installing three-layer panels only in areas where there is no direct contact with skin. We do not provide a guarantee for overuse from sweat.
